Mission Statement
Beit Shalom, Inc. was founded in 1999 to strengthen the family values and domestic health of the Bukharian immigrant community in New York City. Through community awareness, youth education, family counseling and social work, Beit Shalom is helping the community grow while maintaining strong pride in its ethnic heritage.

MARRIAGE REGISTRYOur “Sefer Yuchasin” marriage verification service assures brides and grooms that their spouse-to-be is Jewish. A large percentage of immigrants have no way of verifying their own or their partner’s heritage.
